How does the sizing run?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
How comfy are they?
They felt good right away. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they help with airflow. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in synthetic materials. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just adjust easily.
Do they hold up well?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you buy again?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them with a promo is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
